赤谷鉱山の発見は江戸期天明年間と伝えられ、昭和期に日鉄鉱業のもとで鉄鉱を産出します。
後に石灰石への生産転換が図られました。
1998 年閉山
The discovery was made in the 1780s.
Managed by Nittetsu Mining Co., Ltd., the mine produced iron ore in the 20th century and was developed as a limestone mine later.

草倉鉱山は江戸中期から銅鉱を産出し、明治期に近代化を迎えて繁栄します。収益は足尾鉱山の開発に投じられ、同山の発展を支えました。
1920 年閉山
The mine produced copper ore from the middle of the 18th century and prospered at the end of the 19th century.
The profits were spent on developing Ashio copper mine.

三川鉱山は室町期天文年間の発見を起源とし、古くは大谷金山として金銀鉱を産出しました。後に銅鉱や亜鉛鉱を産出して栄えました。
1962 年閉山
The mine was discovered in the 16th century and produced gold and silver ores under the name of Otani gold mine in the past.
Then production of copper, zinc, and other ores brought prosperity.

持倉鉱山は江戸期享保年間から銅鉱を産出し、明治末期から再開発が行われ、大正期に繁栄を築きました。
1920 年閉山
The mine produced copper ore from the first half of the 18th century.
Later, the mine was redeveloped and prospered in the early 20th century.
